Review: Less is More organic haircare *

Today I want to show you great hair products in their natural surroundings 😛

Many of you may know my opinion about this brand and their products already from my Youtube video or Instagram post, but I added a little update at the bottom of this article for you and this text here contains a lot more detailed info about the ingredients.

2 days unwashed hair

At this stage, a few days without a hair wash (which is healthy to the scalp!) I definitely feel the need to wash. And if you’ve watched my video you will already know more about the products I use at the moment. But if not, let me introduce LESS IS MORE to you.

The title alone has a message I really sympathize with. Minimalism is a trendy thing nowadays (the environment says thank you) and especially with your hair and body care you should concentrate on the imporant things and not overload your body with ingredients. Less is more doesn’t have an incredibly small INCI list (like S.W.basics for example), but they focus on the ingredients with an effect and leave out the unhealthy stuff that serves conventional brands to dilute the product with cheaper chemicals and synthetic ingredients and only use the natural ones for advertising purposes… yes that’s a common strategy.

The Neem Scalp Relieve series lives up to its promise and relieved my itchy and irritated scalp. But not only did it do this miracle but it also relieved me from the annoying and embarrassing white flakes that trickled down my head in an enormous amount.

The Neem Scalp Relieve Shampoo

–> I am not sure how I feel about honey being used in my beauty products as honey is so valuable and one could say that it should solely used as food. But with the formulation of this shampoo, with its combination of effective ingredients including honey, rosemary and aloe vera, Brandhuber and Trummer seem to have found the perfect mixture for all scalp issues.

• the emulsion like product lasts longer than the shampoo with similar usage

The Herbal Tonic

• the one product I discovered the brand with and fell in love with immediately afterwards

The Rose Serum

• pure plant oils that need to be massaged into your length after a shower or whenever you need some control over frizzy hair

The packaging of the Less Is More shampoo and conditioner is plastic, unfortunately, but the labels really look appealing. They show a cute flowery print on black, elegant background and do a good job looking pretty in my bathroom. To the founders: if you can, try switching to more sustainable packaging options please. The rose serum by the way is even more beautiful packaged in dark glass.

So to close my review I want to prove to you that I am dandruff-free by showing you the picture below. Usually I would have patches of white flaky skin cells on the area above my forehead, on the sides and in the middle of my scalp. Now that I am free of this I can enjoy my long hair like a normal person 🙂

UPDATE

At the moment, after a few month of use, my scalp became a little bit itchy again and there were occasionally appearing tiny patches of dandruff but not at all comparable to my situation before. I am still sticking to a hair care routine with Less Is More.
