It’s incredible. I think I’ve found my forever favorite face cream. And it’s not just the feeling, or the look, or the ingredients, or the smell… it’s all of it!
Martina Gebhardt always was a brand I fully trust, especially as they are wearing the “demeter” label, which in my opinion is the strongest indicator for truly clean and organic beauty products. I think there is no stricter certification label out there.
So the Tassilo Linde edition is a limited one, as they are using leaves and blossom of a historical 1000 year old linden tree near the monastery where Martina is producing her natural cosmetics. I am very sad if the cream should not be available any more…
But to come back to the story behind the cream, the linden tree gives a lot of magic to this product and there is also silver and gold in the ingredient list. As I asked them where this comes from they said it is naturally incorporated in the spring they are deriving their water from. I think there are different opinions on gold and silver in skin creams but I just feel that the cream is good for my face so that I will keep using it up. If you have an opinion on those ingredients in natural cosmetics please leave me a comment below.
The cream is perfect for dry skin in winter as it gives long-lasting moisture to the skin. You will see a thin layer of cream even an hour after you put this cream on so you need to use it conservatively in the morning but can go heavy in the evening.
Aqua, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil°, Lanolin, Butyrospermum Parkli Butter*, Cera Alba°, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter*, Tilia Cordata Flower, Leaf, Root and Bark Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Extract°, Sambucus Nigra Root Extract°, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract, Gold, Silver, Sulfur, Aroma* (from essential oils of lime-tree blossom and sandalwood, Geraniol**, Linalool**, Eugenol**, Benzylalcohol**)
I prefer the cream over the lotion, it is so nicely thick and moisturizing and I do not have that feeling with the lotion. 50 ml of the cream are still available for 16,90 € for example at najoba.de (checked that and am very happy about it!).
So even if the limited edition is already gone or soon gone, I am pretty sure my next face cream will be one of theirs and I would recommend you to try one of theirs out, aswell.
