Review: Antipodes Divine Face Oil

I’ve discovered a new wonder face oil from a brand I would have never expected to be impressed with. Antipodes never came to my mind as a real natural cosmetics brand and as I am very picky about ingredients, I never looked deeper into their products. But then I got to try some of their products (not sponsored by them, they don’t even know I have these I bet). First, I tried the gentle cleanser which comes in a tube and I really didn’t like it. So I waited way to long to try their other products. I decided it was time to give their Divine Face Oil a chance and voilá… I fell in love.

The ingredients are amazing: avocado oil, macadamia nut oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, Vitamin E, essential oil fragrances of ylang ylang, sandalwood and jasmine. That’s it according to the INCI list on the back of the product. 100 % natural origin, 95 % organic. That’s how I like it.

I’d say the oil is suited for dry to combo skin and that’s what they advise, too. When I put it on after I cleansed my face and after I sprayed my face with some Dabba floral water (my skin usually needs immediate moisture after cleansing) I put 3 drops into my palm and dip my finger into the oil drops to distribute them on my cheeks, nose, chin, under my eyes, a little on my forehead and concentrate around my nose (most dry). Then I take both hands and pat the oil all over, spreading the rest from my hands onto my neck. Then I will follow with a face lotion, at the moment from Martina Gebhardt.

here you can witness the glow it gives my skin

The feeling and look of my skin after this procedure is amazing. The dryness is gone, the skin looks radiant, I feel good with it and have that special glow.

It’s 25 € or 37 $ for 30 ml, here I only have the 10 ml glass bottle. It’s pretty yielding so you don’t have to worry to buy a new one every month because mine lasts me 1-2 month already and is more than half full.
