Review: Au Naturale – Stick Blush

It’s spring!

Everyone loves spring, everyone celebrates spring and everyone should adjust the make up to the happy season. I do so by using bright colours you usually hesitate to wear. But now is not the season to fear to be a little eyecatcher!

The organic creme blusher in ‘Adrenaline’ from Au Naturale has a bright and not to glimmery colour that is described as a ‘vivid pink with magenta undertones‘. It is not good for warming up your face, you should use a bronzer for that or a blush with warm undertones. This one is perfect for the sunny but still sometimes icy spring weather. It is paraben-free, gluten-free, bismuth oxychloride-free, non-nano, carmine-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the USA.

You know I always have to check up on the ingredients and they are awesome in this product:

Organic Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Fractionated Coconut Oil), Organic Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Candelilla (Euphorbia Cerifera ) Wax, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Wax, Organic Lavandula officinalis (Lavender) Oil, Polymethylsilsesquioxane (Tapioca) Starch, Iron Oxides, Mica, Titanium Dioxide

With this in mind, the price ($32.00) is okay. I can’t yet state that the product lasts very long as I do not own it that long but I think the amount of product is sufficient for a year with moderate use.

I’d say you can use this product everywhere, from your cheeks, to the lips and the eyes when applied with a brush. Imagine this colour as a thin line on your lash line like a kajal or underneath your eyes… exploding colours – especially with blue eyes.

So, as there should be space for new things in spring, be explorative, be brave, take the risk and try something you would not usually use 🙂
